What I’m Wearing this Holiday Season

If you know me, you know I love a good deal. Even though we’re not necessarily going anywhere this holiday season, I still feel the urge to dress up and get in the spirit of Christmas, and so much of that is derived from what I wear. Over the last few months, I’ve found some really cute & affordable outfits that I’m excited to wear this next week, as well as pull out staples that have been in my wardrobe for years that never tire.

Christmas Eve for my family usually entails the Christmas Eve service at our church then a fancy dinner out, dressed to the nines. This year, we decided we still want to dress up, even if our church service is streamed & we’re having dinner delivered. This dress was an impulse buy a couple months ago at Target — I LOVE it and I’m so glad I went for it! It’s so different from everything else I own. The pop of the leopard print on my shoes is fun, but you can also wear black ankle boots with this look. One of my favorite dresses this year, and under $30.

For Christmas Morning

Christmas Morning is usually a casual, slow time with my family. Eating breakfast, opening presents … you want to be comfy. This sweater that I found a month ago is my favorite go-to right now. I love the crop that works perfectly with these high waisted slim wide-legged pants. Also super comfy. Comfort is key. Ok you get the picture. Also, easy slip-on mules are must to kick off as soon as you get to your destination.

These easy pieces are still very comfortable, but a level up from jeans. I will never say no to a jumpsuit (fun fact, I found this jumpsuit in Tokyo back in 2017!) — it’s such an effortless way to pull together an outfit. This sweater dress I found through influencer, Julia Berolzheimer (yes, I was influenced) and bought it a couple months ago on amazon for $30! I honestly never thought I could get on the amazon fashion wagon, but here we are, and so far I’m really pleased with the items I’ve purchased so far!

Clothing for me changes my whole mood — something I have come to learn even more through this year. I’m excited to expand my wardrobe pieces this week & get a little fancy, even if it’s just for me!
