I love decorating for Christmas. I have two big bins full of Christmas decor in our storage space — most we use presently in our home, other things are packed away for a future (bigger) home. Because our space is limited in size & surface area, I try to decorate with more natural pieces. I have a few staples that I bring out every year — little wooden & ceramic houses, candles, and a faux garland, but I also like to decorate with “live” pieces … cedar garlands, wreaths, pine cones, and flowers to brighten up the space. As I said before, because of the limited space we have to decorate, I try to be as deliberate in the items I choose so to not feel cluttered or busy — especially in this year when we are spending most of our days & evenings at home.

The combination of nostalgic pieces, new finds, and living decor can create a festive space that is unique to you and the home you live in.
