A Spring Refresh

From the moment of the first bloom, I’m instantly ready to move towards warmer pieces and items in my home — more pastels, more fresh flowers … a new start.

It doesn’t have to be big changes, even the most subtle candle or pop of tulips in a vase will do the trick!

I fell in love with these candle holders from Crate & Barrel a few months back. They’re so versatile in the way that they can fit both big candles and tapered candles — I’ve loved switching them around to create different moods throughout the months. While I still enjoy a scented candle, once we head into the warmer season I tend to lean more towards lighter scents or even none at all.

You also know me and my obsession with Trader Joe’s flowers… it’s no surprise that I tempt myself now & then to a little bouquet to take home! It’s the little things in life…

I have found myself leaning more towards simplicity and natural rather than just adding a bunch of “stuff” to a room. For one, we don’t have the storage. Two, for a tiny home with very few surfaces to place anything on, I gravitate towards the most meaningful things to me and save some money in the process by not grabbing the first Studio McGee item on sale at Target (if you feel targeted, I see you). More does not mean better in my book. What are some items you enjoy the most in your space?
